Policies on payment, rescheduling, cancellations, refunds, etc.

Payment
Kansas CPR gladly accepts the following forms of payment:

  • MasterCard
  • Visa
  • American Express
  • Discover Card
  • Check
  • Money orders
  • Government assured purchase orders
  • Cash

All payments must be paid prior to entry into the course. Kansas CPR reserves the right to amend this policy at anytime. Payments on the day of the course must have prior approval with an authorized agent of Kansas CPR Inc. Refunds shall be issued according to our refund policy (see below).

Refunds
Refunds shall be issued when a request for a refund is made no later than 2 days prior to the date of the class. (Exception: course cancellation) Anytime prior to the two day notice refunds will be issued at of one half the price of the scheduled course fee. i.e. If the cost of the class is $40.00, then $20.00 will be refunded. Request for a refund on the day before or day of the class will not be granted. Refunds will be issued within 30 days from date of proper request as above.

Rescheduling
Request for rescheduling of a class must be made no later than 2 days prior to the date of the class that is scheduled. (Exceptions: personal illness, course cancellations and other request as granted by Kansas CPR ) Failure to make such a request as above shall result in an additional fee of $10.00 (US) paid prior to admission to rescheduled class. If rescheduling falls under an exception then no fee shall be imposed. If you do not feel safe traveling due to weather conditions please call and reschedule. Your safety is important to us.

Course Cancellations
Kansas CPR Inc. will not cancel classes unless unforeseen circumstances occur. This policy reflects course cancellations initiated by Kansas CPR only.  For weather related cancellations notification of the cancellation will be posted on local media outlets and attempts will be made by phone to contact students. If other unforeseen circumstances occur attempts will be made to contact students prior to the start time of class. If cancellation occurs as above students shall be given the choice of a full refund (full price of class) or rescheduling without additional fee.

No Show Policy
If you are scheduled for a class and payment was not received prior to the date of class, and you do not show up for your scheduled time you will not be allowed to sign up for another class without either reserving your spot with a credit card or paying for the class in person at the time of rescheduling.  You will also be subject to the additional $10.00 rescheduling fee at the time of signing up for another course. 

Privacy Policy
Any information shared with the Kansas CPR Inc. is under certain privacy provisions. Information shared with the Kansas CPR Inc. will be handled by our organization and not shared, sold, or reproduced. The Kansas CPR Inc. will send personally identifiable information about you to other companies or people when:

  • We need to share your information to provide the product or service you have requested;
  • We need to send the information to companies who work on behalf of the Kansas CPR Inc. to provide a product or service to you. (Unless we tell you differently, these companies do not have any right to use the personally identifiable information we provide to them beyond what is necessary to assist us.);
  • To fulfill your requests for certain products and services;
  • We respond to subpoenas, court orders, or legal process.

All media (downloaded or samples), software, text, images, graphics, user interfaces, music, videos, photographs, trademarks, logos, artwork and other content on this web site (collectively known as "Content"), including but not limited to the design, selection, arrangement, and coordination of such Content on this site, are owned or licensed by or to the Kansas CPR Inc. and is protected by copyright, trade dress, and trademark laws, and various other intellectual property rights laws.

Copyright is the intangible property right granted by Federal statute for an original work fixed in a tangible form of expression. Copyright provides the Kansas CPR Inc. with the following exclusive rights in a work: to reproduce, to prepare derivative works, to distribute by sale or otherwise, to perform publicly, and to display publicly. Federal Law prohibits any unauthorized use of the Kansas CPR Inc. copyrights without the prior written consent of the Kansas CPR Inc..
